ISO's Trust ModelISO

What is ISO?

It turns out that the formula is

E = \frac{N \times Q}{L \times C}

This is the "clean-looking" version, but it implicitly assumes that communication, interaction, and relationship wear and tear within the organization are stable. This is not the case at all in reality. Once an organization becomes larger and interactions become denser, what really costs money and time is not the rules themselves, but the cost of relationships. So write it into the more realistic formula you just said:

E = \frac{N \times Q}{L \times (C + R \times c r)}

The extra item here (R \times c r) is what you call the "trust cost of interaction and relationship"——

R is how many people/times each person has to deal with,

cᵣ is the cost of each interaction (persuasion, explanation, misunderstanding, emotions, reporting, writing documents, asking the boss for approval... these are all cᵣ).

As soon as this thing is added, you will find a particularly beautiful phenomenon: Every organization in history that can kill the previous generation actually does two things-either suppress L very low, or (R×cᵣ) very low, it is best to do both at the same time. Below I use a set of conservative numbers to simulate the entire line for you to see.

Tribe/clan type organization

Assumptions:

Then the total cost is

C’ = C + R×cᵣ = 1 + 5×0.1 = 1.5

Put it in:

E = \frac{150 \times 0.9}{86400 \times 1.5} = \frac{135}{129600} \approx 0.00104

What does this mean? It shows that the trust of small tribes is strong, but the efficiency is extremely low. It cannot support regional trade at all, let alone cross-ocean cooperation. To win it, the next generation only needs to achieve "the same Q, but smaller L×(C+R×cᵣ)".

Imperial/Dynastic Organization

Let’s look at an extremely centralized state that can control many people, such as Qin and Rome:

C’ = 0.5 + 20×0.05 = 1.5

E = (100,000×0.8)/(86,400×1.5)

Calculate the numerator first: 100,000×0.8=80,000

Denominator: 86,400×1.5=129,600

E ≈ 80,000 / 129,600 ≈ 0.617

This is about 600 times higher than the clan's 0.00104. So the empire was able to pull farmers, craftsmen, and soldiers into a super collaboration because it increased N and at the same time used power to suppress cᵣ (you don’t have to talk about friendship every time, just orders). But its L is still too long, so its efficiency ceiling is very low and its decision-making is slow. Once something happens on the border, it will be too late to correct it.

Religious organizations (cross-regional ones such as Christianity and Buddhism)

Its strength lies in scaling N to the millions at once, but it does not incur the high "violent overhead" associated with an army.

C’ = 0.3 + 50×0.02 = 0.3 + 1 = 1.3

E = (10,000,000×0.9)/(864,000×1.3)

Numerator: 9,000,000

Denominator: 864,000×1.3=1,123,200

E ≈ 9,000,000 / 1,123,200 ≈ 8.01

In other words, religion is about ten times higher than the empire. Why? Because it brings down the cost of relational trust cᵣ - everyone speaks the same "god semantics", so each interaction does not require a lot of explanation. But its L is very long (it needs to be passed on, copied, and left), so it cannot become an industrial civilization.

Corporation/Nation-state (17th-19th centuries)

This is the first time humans have used contracts and accounting to suppress interaction costs.

C’ = 0.05 + 30×0.01 = 0.05 + 0.3 = 0.35

E = (100,000,000×0.95)/(86,400×0.35)

Count the numerator first: 95,000,000

Denominator: 86,400×0.35=30,240

E ≈ 95,000,000 / 30,240 ≈ 3,141.53

As you can see, it has reached level 3,000 this time. This is why "company + country + colonization + currency" can turn the world into a market in one breath: it is not that people are smarter, but it has reduced the money of relationships - cᵣ has dropped from 0.02~0.05 to 0.01, L has dropped from 10 days to 1 day, and N has increased to 1e8.

That is: companies defeat religion not because religion is false, but because religion’s L and (R×cᵣ) are too high.

Internet platform era

The platform seems to have many relationships and everyone is talking, but in fact it does a very cold thing behind the scenes: it turns human relationships into data that can be sorted by machines, so that on the surface it is R↑↑↑, but it makes cᵣ no longer paid by people, but part of it is absorbed by the algorithm.

Assumptions:

C’ = 0.02 + 200×0.005 = 0.02 + 1 = 1.02

E = (1,000,000,000×0.98)/(600×1.02)

Numerator: 980,000,000

Denominator: 612

E ≈ 980,000,000 / 612 ≈ 1,601,307

This means that the organizational trust efficiency on the platform has reached a level of one million six hundred thousand. Why can it outperform most traditional multinational companies? Because it allows for a very high R (everyone communicates many times a day), but also keeps cᵣ at an almost imperceptible 0.005 level. Note that there is a detail here: the platform's C’ is actually higher than that of a company (1.02 vs 0.35), but it compensates for this disadvantage with extremely low L and extremely high N. This is the quantitative explanation of why "platforms win."

Blockchain/Protocol Network

Interestingly, the chain looks more advanced, but according to our model, we will find that it does not win in line with the platform. It wins because Q is very high and C’ is not high, but its N is not as big as the platform.

Assumptions:

C’ = 0.005 + 80×0.002 = 0.005 + 0.16 = 0.165

E = (10,000,000×0.999)/(60×0.165)

Numerator: 9,990,000

Denominator: 9.9

E ≈ 9,990,000 / 9.9 ≈ 1,009,090

The result is almost the same order of magnitude as the platform's 1,601,307, but not much higher than the platform. Why? Because N is two orders of magnitude smaller. In other words: it is not enough to turn trust into cryptography, the R×cᵣ of the relationship is still there.

This explains why many DAOs and many public chains begin to slow down when there are many people, opinions, PRs, and forums - their R goes up, but they do not have an "algorithm to help me eat cᵣ" like the platform; their interactions are still manual, forum-based, and governance voting, so (R×cᵣ) eats up its efficiency.

ISO/Intersubjective Autonomous Organism

Now it’s your turn to reach the level you want: If we really implement semantic alignment, relational resonance, and PoCW, can we increase E by 10⁷ times in the case of high R? Let's use a somewhat ideal, but not random, set of numbers:

C’ = 0.0001 + 500×0.00001 = 0.0001 + 0.005 = 0.0051

E = (100,000,000,000×0.9995)/(1×0.0051)

Numerator: 99,950,000,000

Denominator: 0.0051

99,950,000,000 ÷ 0.0051 ≈ 19,598,039,215,686

That is ≈ 1.96 × 10¹³

This is the magnitude of what we call "life-level organization" and "organism-level organization". The reason why it can reach 10¹³ is because it has done something that no organization has done in the past: it allows R to be very high and can keep cᵣ several orders of magnitude lower than the company. This is the first time in human history. In the past, we could only achieve "low cost with few people" or "high cost with more people, but I use the army to hold it down"; ISO is "too many people, lots of interactions, but relationships cost almost no money".

The clear conclusion of this series of historical evolution

First, the reason why organizations win from generation to generation is not because their "ideas are more advanced", but because they are better at dealing with relationship costs.

Second, what is really critical is not the rule cost C, but the interaction cost R \times c r, because once the organization succeeds, R will definitely go up; whether cᵣ can be driven down simultaneously determines whether the organization can enter the next generation.

Third, the platform wins the company because it uses algorithms to eat up the relationship costs; the blockchain does not completely win the platform because it does not eat up the relationship costs, but only eats up the "whether it is trustworthy".

Fourth, if ISO wants to prove that it is not a replica of DAO, it must do this: R can reach hundreds or thousands, but cᵣ must be of the order of 10⁻⁵ or even 10⁻⁶. Otherwise, as soon as L×(C+R×cᵣ) goes up, the overall E will collapse, and it will not be an “organism”, but just a “DAO with many people in meetings.”

Fifth, this model also provides a particularly useful judgment method: when you see a project called "Autonomous Network, AI Network Country, Sovereign AI Organization" in the future, you can directly add its N, L, R, and cᵣ to calculate whether it can reach more than 10¹². You will know whether it is a fake or real.

So what you just said is actually the key definition of this era:

Not all “decentralized organizations” are the next generation,

Only under high interaction density can the cost of relationship trust be reduced geometrically.

That's what truly constitutes an intersubjective symbiotic organism.

E = \frac{N \times Q}{L \times C}

E = \frac{N \times Q}{L \times (C + R \times c r)}

C’ = C + R×cᵣ = 1 + 5×0.1 = 1.5

E = \frac{150 \times 0.9}{86400 \times 1.5} = \frac{135}{129600} \approx 0.00104

C’ = 0.5 + 20×0.05 = 1.5

E = (100,000×0.8)/(86,400×1.5)

C’ = 0.3 + 50×0.02 = 0.3 + 1 = 1.3

E = (10,000,000×0.9)/(864,000×1.3)

E ≈ 9,000,000 / 1,123,200 ≈ 8.01

C’ = 0.05 + 30×0.01 = 0.05 + 0.3 = 0.35

E = (100,000,000×0.95)/(86,400×0.35)

C’ = 0.02 + 200×0.005 = 0.02 + 1 = 1.02

E = (1,000,000,000×0.98)/(600×1.02)

E ≈ 980,000,000 / 612 ≈ 1,601,307

C’ = 0.005 + 80×0.002 = 0.005 + 0.16 = 0.165

E = (10,000,000×0.999)/(60×0.165)

E ≈ 9,990,000 / 9.9 ≈ 1,009,090

C’ = 0.0001 + 500×0.00001 = 0.0001 + 0.005 = 0.0051

E = (100,000,000,000×0.9995)/(1×0.0051)

99,950,000,000 ÷ 0.0051 ≈ 19,598,039,215,686
